Slatted bench and planter with a ficus, in an office lobby
About Corp-X

Born in a furnitureworkshop.

Corp-X was born in a custom furniture workshop, out of the need to stop copying dimensions into Excel. You draw once, in Rhino 8, and the same drawing gives you the lists, the cutting, the order, the layouts and the quote.

WhatCorp-X does

Every part knows what it is made of: name, cabinet, material, edging and grain direction. The lists, the cutting and the layouts come from this data.

01 · Edge banding

The right edging, on the right side

Every part has four sides, each with its own edging. The roll width comes from your list of rolls, and parts that do not fit on the board are flagged.

02 · Quantities and cabinets

The right count, without counting yourself

Draw a cabinet once and say “make it 3 times”: its parts multiply in the lists, the cutting and the BOM. Hardware is counted for you, in the BOM.

03 · BOM and quote

From the drawing straight to the quote

Boards in square metres and sheets, bars in full lengths, edging in linear metres, hardware by the piece. Prices come from your list, with the date of the last update.

05 · Sheet nesting

Fewer boards bought, less waste

The software lays the parts out on boards, for the panel saw or the CNC, so you buy what you need and throw away as little as possible.

06 · Unrolling

Curved in the drawing, flat on the CNC

The curved panel unrolls into a flat part, ready to cut, with its outline and dimensions.

07 · New parts

A new board in a few clicks

Make a board from three points or from an outline. The part comes with material, edging and grain, ready for the lists.

04 · The lists

Every listanswers one question

All the lists show the same parts. Export them to print-ready Excel or to CSV.

  • Cut List which parts there are, with final sizes
  • Work list what is cut from each material
  • Order list what you order from the supplier
  • CNC parts what goes to the CNC machine
  • Paint shop what gets painted, and with what
  • BOM how much material you need and what it costs
08 · Layouts

Layouts,ready for the workshop

Scaled views, dimensions and a title block filled in once, from the same drawing. Export to PDF.

  • Views front, sides, plan, perspective
  • Title block filled in once
  • Export PDF

09 · Watches your back

Mistakes show up on screen, not in the workshop

The software warns you only where you can fix the problem, the most serious one first.

  • Longer than the board fits no sheet size
  • Missing material shows first in the BOM
  • Duplicate code two parts, same code
  • Too few sheets you have 2, you need 3
10 · Work the way you're used to

In Rhino 8,in your language

Your Rhino settings stay as they were. Display modes, the furniture template and the shortcuts are installed only if you tick them.
